  1. Order your bins and schedule a time for delivery

  2. Pack your stuff safely in your bin.

  3. In your My Stuff profile, provide a name and brief description of the bin contents.  For instance, “Grace’s summer clothes - shorts, t-shirts, bathing suits, and shoes". Confirm the last 3 digits of the bin serial number match the description you've provided.

  5. Secure your bin with the provided zip ties.

  6. Schedule your pickup!

  • Sqyrl is currently testing in Chittenden County Vermont and is serving:

    • local universities (University of Vermont, Champlain College, and St. Michael’s College)

    • the towns of Williston, S. Burlington, Burlington, Essex, Winooski, and Colchester

  • We are always expanding. If you’d like to have Sqyrl available in your area, please send us an email at hello@sqyrl.com so we can let you know when service is available.

Your bins will be delivered to and picked up from the address you designate in your profile (note that this can be different from your billing address). In the near future, you will be able to deliver to an alternative address if that address is within the coverage area of your storage provider.

In general, your bins can be delivered in as little as 24 - 48 hours. Variation may exist by storage provider. We encourage you to schedule your deliveries well in advance to ensure they are there when you need them.

The safety of your belongings is a top concern for us. Sqyrl only works with professional storage providers. Your bins are always stored in secure, climate controlled facilities which are not open to the public.

Pricing is really simple and consists of two parts, storage and delivery. Each bin costs $5/month to store. So, if you have 3 bins, it’s $15/month for storage. When you want to have your bins delivered, it’s $10 for up to 3 bins. Delivery of additional bins is $2/bin. So, for 5 bins, a delivery (or pickup) will cost $14.

  • Definitely! All bins are made of high density polyethylene plastic. They have attached hinged lids, ergonomic carrying handles, and eyelets which allow for secure fastening with a zip tie.

  • Our standard bins measure 27 x 17 x 12 (2.5 cu ft). We will be introducing a larger option in the near future (3.5 cu ft).

  • Storage

    • For new accounts, billing will begin on the first day of the subsequent month from which your bins are initially placed into storage. So, if your bins are delivered to you on February 9th, you pack them and send them to storage on the 15th, billing will begin on March 1st (a bunch of free days!).

    • You will continue to be billed on the first day of each month based on the number of bins assigned to your account. You are billed for the month regardless of the location of the bin. There are no partial charges.

  • Delivery & Pickup

    • Initial delivery of bins is free. Subsequent delivery and pickup is billed per stated delivery charges. Delivery and pickup charges are billed at time of completion.

No. If you sign up and don’t like the service, cancel at any time. Once you schedule a final return of your bins you have 15 days to send them back to storage. Otherwise, you will be billed $15/bin.

Generally, if it fits in the bin, it can be stored. Everything from clothing to decorations to homegoods. In the future, we anticipate being able to store items larger than a bin, so stay tuned!
